Aloha! I am privileged to work on you and truly put my energy, mind and spirit into each massage session. At birth a psychic had predicted that I would enter the healthcare field and my true calling came later in life in the healing modality of massage. I am trained in various techniques including: deep tissue, sports massage, reflexology, acupressure, shiatsu, Swedish relaxation, lomi lomi and cranio-sacral release. In my twelve years of experience I have worked on thousands of clients from different walks of life and have come to appreciate and understand the common junctions where our bodies store stress. I approach the muscles with a listening ear and respond to its biofeedback to tell me what it needs. Our muscles are like sponges and massage ‘wrings’ them out to promote healing and well-being. I have been told I have a knack for finding problem areas and my specialty is employing deep tissue along with acupressure, range of motion and sports techniques to work them out. I also intertwine Swedish relaxation strokes to soothe the body and facilitate toxin and endorphin release.
Massage increases awareness of our body and of the lifestyle habits that contribute to our maladies, hence I often give ‘homework’ to my clients to help them manage their pain; because of this I have been blessed to hear these adjustments have helped many of them. I am a certified Chi Nei Tsang practitioner and have realized through this powerful modality the deep connection between the mental, emotional and physical; our body can store stress from traumatic experiences that occurred many years ago and we carry these stressors around like unwanted baggage until they are properly addressed. I endeavor to understand the whole person whom I am treating, including their past and present traumas that contribute to the sympathetic response in the body, and at times try to walk you through the psychological release within the muscle. I look forward to meeting you and working with you! Mahalo Nui Loa!
